Our Ales

SGT. MAJOR INDIA PALE ALE                                                                 The Sgt. is our most intense ale to date. It is a massively hoppy and quite bitter beer, yet one with a full-bodied malt background for balance. 

STUART'S ORGANIC SESSION ALE                                                         This ale is the first and only all organic beer brewed in Eastern Ontario using all certified organic malts and hops. Stuart's is deep golden in colour, moderately hopped and has a clean finish. This beer is in the easy drinking style of a session ale. 

CORPORAL PUNISHMENT                                                                       Our bitter brown ale is our most complex beer to date. This ale is wonderfully bitter and incredibly malty. This nicely hoppy brew is a rich mahogany in colour.  This ale blends flavours of fresh bitter coffee, dry caramel, nuttiness, light dry chocolate with woody hop and citrus notes. 

BLACK IRISH PLAIN PORTER                                                                   This deep brown beer is brewed in the classic porter style. Our porter is full bodied with flavours of dark chocolate and espresso. The finish is dry with a hint of nuttiness. 

JOHN BY IMPERIAL STOUT                                                                    Our stout is almost black in colour with beautiful coffee and dark chocolate aromas and flavours. The well malted base is nicely balanced and the beer has a lingering dry finish.
